Manufacture of S235J2+N Steel Pipes for chemical, marine, oil
and gas industry
S235J2+N Seamless Pipe
is made up of a carbon steel with 0.17% carbon, silicon, 1.4% manganese,
nickel, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, molybdenum and aluminum in the
composition. Multi Metals (India) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of

The material has good tensile strength of minimum 360MPa and 235MPa minimum
yield strength and the elongation rate is up to 26%. The S235J2+N
Carbon Steel Pipe is used to construct bridges, marine structures,
general engineering applications, oil and gas, petrochemical and construction
industrial applications.
The S235J2+N
Hollow Section Pipe can be used in these applications because the
corrosion resistance, toughness and ductility of the pipe are good. The
material is tested according to hydrostatic testing, ultrasonic testing, radiographic
testing and so on. The EN 10210 S235J2+N Seamless Pipes can be
welded with conventional methods. The material produces less carbide
precipitation. Depending on the welding procedure and the application need, the
use of filler materials, preheating and post weld heat treatments can be
applied.
The S235J2+N
Hot Finished Seamless Pipe can be hot rolled, cold rolled, cut and
formed. The dimensions of the pipes range up to 300mm in nominal bore sizes,
21.3mm to 457.2mm outer diameters and 1.8mm to 14.27mm wall thickness with
